It's incredible how little Thomas has developed in the near 3 years it's been since that performance against Liverpool where he tied Salah up all game.

 

I'd imagine there are Tranmere fans that don't know who he is that are assuming he's some 17/18 year old.

 

He's played over a hundred games now. Looks lke he's never played in a stadium before.

He was one of the players who benefitted massively from Marescas system last season, very much like Madueke has so far in pre-season and at the weekend. So many occasions last season Mavididi half arsed a run at the defender only to turn around and pass it back or run himself into nothing. 
If he got the ball and put his head down and ran at players he would be a far more dangerous player.
