LCFC V Tranmere Match Thread

Such as a routine win?

It's Tranmere at home, acting like it is an exciting and positive result shows how far expectations have fallen.

There is absolutely no excuse to not have 2-3 youngsters in the lineup for a game like this. There will not be a better opportunity all season than our opening League Cup game against a League 2 side.

Can I ask the people who were saying "But Steve cooper is good at bringing through youth" when he is going to play some?

If not when you are 2-0 up against a league 2 side when exactly?

I'd say if I was Steve Cooper, probably around the 72 minute mark

I can see merit in this but don't know how it fits in the team. At the minute I'd play Ayew from the left on saturday.

We have to see a bit more of him him, But I don't think he can offer us what Mavadiddi can on the wing. But we'll see over the season.

If Popov wasn’t Welsh do we reckon Cooper would still give him minutes?

Glad he is giving our kids a runout. I’m surprised Nelson doesn’t get a go. He is the most likely to feature in the near future I reckon or maybe Alves.
