Chuffin  Nora,  fats and Mavs won’t be getting any service with  that midfield!

Absolutely, dump Ndidi before he trips over his feet and hurts someone. Get him to take Calamity James with him too and explain to him it's not charity football whereby you always have to give the ball to the opposition.

Lightyears ahead of us which given how far ahead of them we were is inexplicable

Even in 2022 when we were on an even keel. They sacked Gerrard in and got themselves a proper manager while we kept Rodgers. By the end of that season there was a massive chasm between the two teams.

Tielemans takes corners for Villa so look forward to endless half booing/half clapping every time he goes to take one.

Can we just agree to ignore him for the game and then maybe give him a little clap when he gets subbed?

Would argue that we were ahead of them with a far superior starting 11 at that point. With my mrs being from west mids have spoken about this a lot with them. Don’t think we’d be in this mess if we’d have been as decisive as them and got rid of Rodgers at that time.

They were above us in the table and out of the relegation zone when they sacked Gerrard. Goes some way to showing just how obvious it was that Rodgers needed to go.

I usually leave it too the last minute to get my ticket. But the villa game is non existant on the website. Even if its sold out it stays on there? Anyone know why it has up and vanished?

I looked about half an hour ago and it was on there with a fair amount of single seats left and a few pairs of seats. Just gone to check again and it's vanished!

2-0 win for Villa,

we'll probably start the same side who played against Fulham, dunno how tho, since JJ and BDR shouldnt be starting

Will be a very tough game, difficult to see anything other than a Villa win. Hopefully we can nick a point, the performance will be the most important thing, after the internationals we have a very important run where we simple have to win a few.
