After attending about 67,784 LCFC games (or so it seems at times) I will be taking my young granddaughter for her first league match

Let's hope we don't get destroyed and shred her enthusiasm.

I would seriously consider dropping Ndidi for this.

Seems like the player we had in our relegation season so far and not the rejuvenated one from last season.

Skipp to come in for him.

Yup, agree, bring Skipp in OR play Ricardo next to Winks.

Watkins hat trick with a hat trick of assists from Rogers will see my fantasy team move off the bottom 🤣

Seriously think Watkins will be up for this after a poor start to be fair and we'll get hammered. Just have to be clinical should we get any chances

If they have any weakness, it's down the left where they seem to start Mcginn, whoever starts at RB should have a slightly easier run against him and offer more assistance to fatawu going forward

I know I live in Canada, but this doesn't seem quite right from my football app:

Emery tempers top six aspirations ahead of East Midlands derby.

Aston Villa suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, but will be looking to bounce back against East Midlands rivals Leicester.

Very tough game. Villa are very well coached and have manager that is tactically very switched on.

I can't see us getting anything from this, but let's hope the new signings bring a new sense of positivity to the team and we start well.

1-2

We have to bring in Skipp next to Winks to have any chance of retaining possession and building through midfield. I think Cooper will do this, but, horrifyingly, with Ndidi, rather than Buanonotte, in front of them. This is why he tried this v Tranmere, I reckon. Also expect Okoli in for Vesty, which is probably why he played him with Faes on Tuesday. Otherwise, it will likely be the same team so still no Ricardo or Stephy.

Squad now is at least balanced, albeit our back up quality is not good enough. 5 or 6 injuries particularly up front and in midfield and we are in a really bad way.

Hermansen Ward Iversen (Stola)

Justin Kristiansen Ricardo Thomas

Coady Vestergaard Okoli Faes

Winks Skipp Ndidi Choudhury

El Khannous Buonanotte Alves

Fatawu Mavididi Ayew BDR McAteer

Vardy Edouard Daka
