It wouldn't be the stupidest thing to do. They've gotten promoted twice consecutively, they probably aren't going to keep their manager beyond this year, they've still got a League One squad let alone Championship.

 

Going to be a very big ask to stay up and establish themselves with those foundations. Wouldn't be the end of the world for them to just consolidate.

 

They've spent a lot of money to do that, though.

Definitely - prefer it to our ‘strategy’.  Just quite risky and really down to whether or not he can get them to click and build momentum.
