No one gets their news from Sky Sports, it's miles behind the pace. Has been for years!

I get that, but literally not one mention of Edouard in the last couple of hours ?

This pr1ck signed yet?

Yeah, but this is us we're talking about. We're currently taking hours to shoot his reveal video, which will consist of a silhouette of a man, standing in front of a lit up Leicester City badge, then footage of random body parts, such as biceps, shoulders, back of the neck etc in the 3 different kits, before finally it's revealed to be Edouard with the text of "Welcome Odsonne"

Vardy should start every game he can.

Hes levels above most PL teams strikers apart from a select few

He's really not. We saw that during the season we got relegated that he'd lost a yard of pace and not as clinical as his admittedly off-the-charts conversion rates from.previous years.

Even last year, he wasn't sure of.starting until the last couple of months.

He scored against Spurs, but missed a sitter too and against Fulham got caught after being clean through.

He's still decent and a talisman, but let's not pretend he's not had a massive drop off.

Hes better than all our other options

Just been on the Palace forum and they’re fairly scathing about Edouard. They were actually much more complimentary about Ayew.

I suppose we did need back up to Vardy and he only needs to be better than Daka to improve the squad. If that’s the low bar we’re setting then it doesn’t feel like the worst punt on a loan.

We have no other options except Ayew. Mavididi I don't consider anything else but an emergency option.

A younger vardy is on a par with Henry or any other great premier League striker

He's a legend of epic proportions, but sadly this Jamie vardy isn't a patch... It isn't his fault but father time catches up with all of us

Considering we were looking at Fofana, Broken Broja and homophobic Egyptian….. (allegedly). This isn’t bad……. His form with palace hasn’t been particularly brilliant, but playing most of his football under Roy “stinks of piss” Hodgeson probably didn’t help.

He was good at Celtic and has a mint chant. It could have been a lot worse in my opinion. Give the lad a chance, magic Cooper might bring enough out of him to do a job.

I'd take Vardy, confident, with good service over a lot of teams first choice strikers in this league, it wasn't such a stupid comment.

He isn't the Vardy that you cash smash it long to and have him chase the channels anymore but if you actually create chances in around the box his movement and finishing is still better than most.

Biggest problem the year we went down is we created almost **** all for any of them.

We’ve got better attacking players now as well.

So you agree x

I don't know, but it isn't saying much anyway. Ayew has barely featured yet but already scored a good goal.

Daka was deservedly playing ahead of Vardy during the winter months last year, but he's no use injured.

Either way, Vardy is not "above most PL teams' strikers".
