Villa scored before the half hour so they didn't have to push for a goal anymore. They could let us have the possession because we're playing Ndidi as a 10 so every attacking move breaks down

you can't be so stupid as to not see that cooper's lineups are putting us in a worse position than if he just played our best players from the start

I don’t have a problem with starting defensively against teams that are on paper miles ahead of us, even at home. Providing we stay in the game and have a go in the last half an hour. Annoyingly here their second goal came at an awful time.

Yh I’m not a fan of Ndidi there, I get it off the ball, but if they’re gonna let us have it he’s more of a hindrance than help

We aren’t even benefitting from having the extra defensive player as he’s playing in an advanced role and expected to make something happen.
