If I remember he scored with his first touch against Man City on by far  the coldest night I have ever experienced at footy.I took my gloves off and daughter put them on her feet.

That match everyone in the Kop was convinced I was an Oasis fan cos of my hair and this absolute weapon in front kept smiling at me every time we had an attack. So at half time I had to convince him I wasn't a Man City fan sat in our end by naming players like Rob Ullathorne and Theo Zagorakis.

Shakey, Sven and Sol all in the same month:nono:

Three wonderful men who we’ll never be able to replace. Let’s all remind ourselves to live a bit more like them and we’ll make the world a better place.

Loved big Sol. He was ahead of his time in a way. Now we see centre backs bringing the ball out of defence, even getting into the opposition box or on the edge of it. We have Faes and had Maguire too. Sol was doing that back then. And yes I know history has centre backs that have done that for a long time, but I feel like we see it a bit more nowadays, though I could be wrong.
