I would suggest that we’ve been looking into all those rules for some time when it looked like we might go down. I said last season that was possible due to the accounting period move and a few other bits.

The fact they move the account period by month probably is a indicator.

This might, psychologically, be big for the players.

No idea. I suppose we told everyone that we went after that we were going to avoid a points deduction but they probably hedged their bets.
