Match thread - LCFC v Everton

Good to see our new signing being trusted to start. Though it feels odd seeing Skipp out :D but Wilf played very well last game so makes sense that he gets to start again.  Only slight grievance is Ayew over Fatawu, although that's not to the detriment of Ayew who people seem to be shitting on despite doing nothing particularly wrong so far. But Abduls pace would be welcome from the off against Young. Though perhaps Cooper thinks it's best to bring him on fresh to torment AY later in the game.

It's not as adventurous as it could have been, but it's not a bad lineup by any means.

The fact we can bring on Edouard, Fatawu, Buonanotte, and even Skipp and Riccy, bodes well.

Hoping he has Ndidi pressing high and getting close to El Khannous rather than deep alongside Winks.

Ayew on the right is too defensive minded, should be Abdul with Ayew on to wind the clock down later.

Sick of mentioning no riccy.. just ridiculous not playing him.

Hoping for a win of course but fancy a 0-1 dyche is the saviour crap

Just now, The Doctor said:

Ricardo is straight up one of the best players in this squad, and the goals we're conceding from open play keep coming down the right. not playing Ricardo is a joke from a manager who is utterly inept (no league wins in 19)

  1. We have only played 4 competitive games this season, and he only joined this Summer, so that stat is every bit as useless as it sounds
  2. Ricardo was a great last year
  3. Our weakness down the right side is fair, but I see no reason why Ricardo would improve that after playing primarily as midfielder last year
  4. Regardless, Ricardo should be at least subbed on so we can see how it looks this year
    1. Even if he is God awful, it will no doubt not be his fault

Too many have already made up their minds about Cooper, but each to their own though.

I thought it had been reported they were managing a strain and some fitness issues with him. Maybe he is not quite ready for a start?

Possibly. On holiday so not as up to date as I could be
