DennisNedry Posted Sunday at 21:08 Share Posted Sunday at 21:08 Absolutely nailed on defeat. I'd take a 1 goal defeat if offered it now. Just keep the goal difference tally respectable and try and keep any scrap of optimism in the squad.

Daveb5569 Posted Monday at 04:15 Share Posted Monday at 04:15 I would be leaving Vardy out of this one not as if we are going to win the game, give him some much needed rest so he is 100% for the next game which is winnable, would be also rest a few others no need for injuries and silly bookings
Jazzy_Jeff Posted Monday at 05:38 Share Posted Monday at 05:38 I would go with: Hermansen Justin Faes Okoli Kristensen Winks Skipp Ayew Buenenotte Mavididi Vardy I suspect Cooper will go for Ndidi for Buenenotte and keep the rest the same. Corbee Posted Monday at 06:00 Share Posted Monday at 06:00 Either 3 or 4 nil defeat. Arteta will throw on a couple of 17yr olds to rest the star names once it's looking like a comfortable victory. Saturday was best chance for a first victory. Maybe just maybe get something v Bournemouth.

This would be my team too. We don't lose anything defensively by playing Fatawu over Ayew. Fatawu is also as good in the air too. At least this gives us a small chance of creating some dangerous counter attacks too.
suffolk fox Posted Monday at 06:43 Share Posted Monday at 06:43 I am hopeful Justin is dropped for this one. Positionally he hasn't a clue how to defend. Is always on the wrong side of the attacker, and switches off during games. Riccy P please instead. Arsenal will score 2 and ease up on us. I think we are capable of scoring as we have scored in every game this season. 3 - 1 them.
brookfox Posted Monday at 06:54 Share Posted Monday at 06:54 I did enjoy Arsenals 6-3-0 formation second half vs Man City yesterday. Maybe we go with that but with another DM! One area Arsenal are particularly strong in which has been a weakness for us is corners. Would be tempted to go 3 atb to bring in another tall CB, play Ndidi and also Eduoard just for this. And hope the new set piece coach is an absolute genius! Realistically they have better players, tactics and in-game management so we can just hope luck is on our side. Fatawu is better in the air, better defensively, better at shot creating actions. best you can say is Ayew gets fouled more and gets more of his shots on target. but he doesn't score at a higher rate. he's absolute guff Edited Monday at 07:50 by The Doctor 4

Bazly Posted Monday at 08:14 Share Posted Monday at 08:14 Man Citeh managed to draw with them so we should be fine. Though they were only playing against 10 so it's possibly a game requiring a piece of Humza's legendary contribution.

One of the Forest fans (Wolfie) told us that "Cooper loves playing against the big 6 cartel because his dour defensive tactics often get results. Expect a 541 with only 2 attacking players on the pitch. You will probably only have 2 shots on goal in the entire match, but still might come away with something." I remember Puel beat Pep at home by playing Ndidi, Choudhury and Mendy in the middle of the park. I expect us to play Skipp, Winks and Ndidi, and at the back have Coady, Faes and Okoli. On current form it will probably be Mavididi and Vady as the two outlets. I think Arsenal will win, but we will frustrate them for a long time playing this way. It might be grim to watch, but objectively it probably is the highest percentage way to play to hope to get something from the game. Them missing Odegaard and Merino plays into our hands. Keeping Saka quiet is the challenge.

southfox66 Posted Monday at 12:26 Share Posted Monday at 12:26 When the premier champions can only get an injury time draw against 10 of their players at home, I don't hold out much hope for us away at their place against 11 of their men, maybe if they get two players sent off and we can play with 13, we might get a draw.
