Players are playing but the manager is letting them down. The subs were thick. AGAIN.

Beyond thick.

We needed to up it from about 70 mins. Vards had to go off. That was the first and mind numbingly obvious first change. I'd have gone Fatawu to give them fckers something to think about.

Then, yes, Ayew on 85 to try and kill the game.

7 minutes added on time

eh, subs and goals would be about 3-4 minutes straight away. Throw in the interruptions with fouls, goal kicks, free kicks etc and you can see 7 minutes easily. yes, timekeeping by refs is wildly inconsistent and not every ref will punish time wasting (all the more reason to go to a stopped clock) but it's hardly a massive injustice that you can't explain normally

FFS!  What were you all expecting?  We're newly promoted, with a team of largely average players, many of them have barely played half-a-dozen games together, and as a team we're low on confidence.  We  gave it a good go against a team that will be challenging for a top two or three spot.  Thought the players deserve considerable credit for getting it back to 2-2, many teams won't lay a glove on that Arsenal team this season.  Let's have a bit of realism please.

Normally you’d expect 4 mins added, and we were doing plenty of injury feigning etc, I think 6 mins would have been fair enough but 7 was hardly ridiculous

It's that word consistency again though isn't it. We had the initial agenda of setting 12 or 13 minutes to try and make up for every second of lost time.

Now they still do that but seemingly for whoever they feel it necessary. That Hull game last season still sticks in my memory as one of the most bizarre when he added just 3 minutes when we had all the subs and a shit load of time wasting from Hull.

Like VAR and refereeing decisions, it's just make it up as you go along from these clowns.
