Our squad is total dogs hit in attack and defence so I feel for him, but his persistence with Kristiansen is criminal.

Kristiansen losing his man at the back post has been responsible for about a third of our goals conceded this year.

I'm not ready to throw the towel in on him but I wish he'd see that glaring opportunity to fix a problem.

Genuinely what have you seen in him that gives you any hope to not throw the towel in?

I'm not even asking this to be snarky, I just can't think of a single thing that he does remotely competently. We can't score, we can't create chances, we can't defend. There is absolutely no urgency, he clearly has no ability to motivate the players or get them fired up. He has no desire or interest in making changes and trying new things, we had 0.02xg last game and he trotted out the exact same lineup again.

He’s won more games against us this season than he has for us. And he’s been manager for about 20 games. Can’t for the life of me fathom how he’s still in the job or not walked

Can someone explain why Leicester fans were applauding when Barnes scored? Like what was your thought process? Genuinely don't understand why

I'd imagine that it was a show of respect based on the entirely low stakes situation we find ourselves in.

As i say, I don't understand why he didn't just play attacking players and tell them to go all out attack, but you never know whats gone on behind the scenes, he said he was looking to see progress, in reality, I think he knows he's gone, so maybe doesn't want a major thrashing on his record, so is playing damage limitation

His record is literally already a thrashing. Although it would very much seem to be part of his character for him to only care about his own record. Lapped it up when he won, doesn’t even thank the fans for coming when he loses. We were supposed to be a stepping stone for him but have ended up sinking his career.

His formations, coaching and team selections are awful. There are not patterns to his play and he clearly can’t instil any passion. He will not have any success as a manager, ever. He is dire at both coaching and tactics.

Yeah that major thrashing would do some real damage to his reputation.

A bit like being a former striker, working under one of the greatest managers of all time and setting a 150 year old record in the football league for 8 games all defeats and zero goals.

15 defeats from 16 games

I agree, it is awful, maybe we'll see a different manager before end of the season, and we will see if they can get more out of the squad

Didn't Pearson not win agame in a record 19 games or something like that in 12/13? Then success came our way shortly after.

Sometimes its not about the manager, it's the players on the pitch. Like today us going 1-0 down after 2 mins just ****s the whole week of training up.

Don’t ever compare the King to this idiot who’s currently managing us.

One is a proper bloke and would never have allowed the club to be in this position. The other is one of the biggest reasons why we’re currently in this position.

Whether the idiots in charge have a plan or not Ruud boy has to go tomorrow. This is gone from sad to embrassing to now humiliating. Either stop playing or give it a F-ing go of it!

probably applauding him for not celebrating

Madness, quite frankly Barnes means absolutely nothing to us anymore.

Even heard chants of Barnes, he's one of our own.

Bemusing

Nobody can agree on a lineup that gets us results because our squad is crap.

What gives me hope is that we are down, we haven't scored in so long and genuinely it can't get any worse for him or us. The only way is up.

It feels like we are at a stage where we just need to see the brightside of how shit we are and look forward to just getting a goal.

At this stage we may as well back the team. The players know they're shit, the fans know we are shit. RvN knows we are shit.

We might aswell all get on board with it and go in with no pressure or expectations from this point onwards.

He's not here for us, he's here for himself and a pay out.

All the respect I had for him as a player has completely evaporated.

Selfish and arrogant, inept and clueless. As a manager, a name in name only.

Worse than Rooney.

Ruud had no say in the state of the club when he arrived.

We were genuine shit before him and will be genuine shit if he leaves.

All I'm saying is back then everyone wanted NP out for the same reasons they currently want RvN out.

Surely the only explanation is we were canny enough to insert a break clause on relegation so are just waiting for that. Bit like Saints I guess. Or does that require some sort of forward thinking?!

But none of this gives any indication that RVN has anything about him as a manager, your reasons are basically "he has been so incredibly shit that it can't get any more shit", what would he have to do for you to finally throw the towel in on him?

I think it's called sarcasm, the closest we have come to scoring in 4 months!

They would all trade the last 10 years of success at their clubs for our last 10 years. Who cares what any away fan thinks.

I looked this up, his longest run that season without a win was 9 games and he drew 4 of them, 4 of the 5 losses were by a single goal, we never dropped lower than 8th in the table and still finished 6th and made the playoffs. Comparing that to this shower of shite is shockingly inaccurate.
