Very rarely ITK, but I know someone who works in Football, and apparently he wants to go but wants a pay off and Top is digging his heels in. Make of that what you will

how come? he's doing a fantastic job

Interestingly Borson felt and feels like we failed PSR for 23/24 by a long away and definitely wouldn’t have got the 83m cap and thinks we failed or were close to failing and something will come out when the appeal for 22/23 is done.

I don’t buy this, but I do think we were close and we’re in trouble again this year, hence the no transfers and not sacking Ruud.

If we actually did fail, it would be absolutely stupid to not admit it at this point, and just cop the deduction. We’re already down.

Wouldn't it just come off next season regardless now?

I was going to ask how he is still employed then I remembered the people running the club. We need to see the back of some of these people when we go down.

If true, which sounds about right, put him on gardening leave and let King or someone else within the club already run the team until the end of the season.

I think money must be the only reasons he's still here.

I don't have too much of an issue with him wanting his pay off or some kind of payoff, the club gave him the contract. Just hope they can do a deal that doesn't do us too much more damage than has already happened.

He'll be sacked on July 1st when the new financial year starts. Hopefully he has a relegation termination or salary clause but that would've required the tiniest amount of foresight which I doubt the hierarchy are capable of.

All I hope is that we are sounding out replacements now and getting that in order.

The only reason he’s still at the club now is because of money 💰 I’d guess we’re stuck with him until the end of the season at least which is soul destroying for everyone.

I think they'll do a deal to get rid before then, but not pay the money until then or spilit between this and next year.

Keeping him here until 1st July will be disastrous, we need a new manager to be well into the job by then. We've got a huge job ahead of us in the summer, can't be giving a new manager 5 weeks until the first game to sort it all out.

Is it worth a points deduction for failing PSR though? Looking at our business in January, it's clear we will be very tight again.

I agree but I don't think it's that simple

Have to say club can't be right for being wrong here...if we sack him and pay him we are wrong, if we keep him and sack him with no payment in July (not 100% certain) we are wrong.....it is an absolutely sh*t situation, that we have created ourselves.....but then 95% of people on here wanted Cooper gone, most thought Van Nistelroy was a "decent " appointment, clearly the club (and most of us) got it wrong.

We need to fire him......

It is clear (Currently Winks, Skipp, Vesty, Ayew, BDR, Casey, Mavadidi not getting a look in-  have all obviously fallen out......) the dressing room are royally ****ed off with him....get him gone!

On the day I need to make my season ticket decision.....so much to look forward to!!

Can’t we sell our women’s team to ourselves. Chelsea got £200m for the their one 😂😂

This is why this PSR is complete nonsense.

As kieran maguire says anyone who has a women's team on the books and is close to psr should be selling

I think that most were just glad that he wasn't SFC and did the mental gymnastics to convince themselves it was a risk worth taking. Not forgetting that we were heavily linked with OGS and that appointment wouldn't have surprised anyone given our owners penchant for a 'name'.

Sell the women's team to ourselves this season, give the new boss an obscene war chest to get promoted, and then do the same with Seagrave at the end of next season to throw funds at staying up. Pussyfooting about with PSR just condemns us to yo-yoing. The big clubs play the game, and Forest just straight laughed at it.

OGS wouldn't have been a bad shout. I said so at the time.

He's a trained, professional manager. He's done some miles and is battle hardened.

And, it would've kept the cuckold Top satisfied.
