Interesting points in post match interview too. Sounds like he doesn't really talk to the board and he brought up the fact that the January window didn't bring him what he wanted/expected.

If we're not scraping the barrel or being used as a stepping stone, who do you suggest??

Anybody not considering us a stepping stone, is basically accepting us as their level. I want someone with aspirations to manage at the very top.

We’ve had experienced (since BR) with Dean Smith and Cooper, we’ve had ‘up and coming’ with Enzo and Ruud.

Smith and Cooper never felt the right fit and didn’t feel any progression or identity (appreciate Smith was a short time and bad situation)

Enzo felt a breath of fresh air but we were a stepping stone, he shown incompetence and naivety - it would of been nice to see him develop and build here but whether it was FFP issues or his lack of care for the club is another question?

Ruud has just been completely incapable and not the right fit at all - no connection to the fans and poor management overall.

The club feels soulless and as a recruitment it feels flat. There isn’t any names that particularly excites to believe the club will be back on an upwards trajectory (I know a lot of that comes from the top in general) but I feel like as a club it needs a new direction, promote from within and develop coaches within to have a better connection/passion like what we can with academy lads or bring someone who knows the club and is ambitious

Him starting Faes, BDCR and Vardy today, then introducing the two club saviors, Skipp and JJ, to finish them off should've had Liverpool pooping their pants, but somehow they were lucky not be ran over by the mighty Foxes.

The end.

Even when I try and be objective (which isn't easy), I genuinely cannot think of a single valid reason to keep him at the club any longer.

There’s this thing in my head where we don’t sack him.

We will be Luton next season if we don’t sack him!

No chance of being Luton even if we keep Ruud

Why not?

we’ve got players who he’s clearly fell out with on huge wages (winks and vestergaard) and will struggle to move them on. Players will be leaving and I don’t trust the board to get players in as January showed. I also don’t trust ruud to get the best out of players we do have.

the only saving grace at the minute is the fa cup game earlier in season against championship opposition we won easily and scored 4!

Miles apart in terms of calibre of players

The cost of sacking him, just maybe?

It’s a lesson our club refuses to learn unfortunately. £4m release clause for Corberan? No way! £10m to sack Cooper & team? Ok then…

No matter how good/shit we’ve been in the last decade I’ll always look at our manger and think would Pearson have done that?

Ruud doesn’t deserve to breath the same air

Had a bad hand. Got ****ed in January.
Both of those can be true as well as him being frightfully out of his depth.

For us to move forward we have to start again. That is the players, Ruud, and those above him. We’ll have a few average championship seasons as a result but will be a better club for it
