Is it really one win in the last 18 games? (I've simply lost count) and, of course, 9 consecutive home defeats without scoring.

Surely Top, or one of the directors, has noticed this?

....and surely they don't look on this as acceptable??

HE HAS TO GO.   NOW

Honestly, there is no point in sacking him now because the hierarchy at the club is the same.  If the hierarchy doesn't change we won't attract the right candidate and getting a big upgrade on RVN won't be possible.

This club is a disaster zone right now.  Simply replacing the manager immediately will solve NONE of the underlying problems we have at the club.

The time for MAJOR changes in how the club is run is here.  The manager (whoever that is) is just a cog in the machine.  We need a new machine.

Remember that the same hierarchy was in place when Enzo was successful in the Championship

Enzo was no-nonsense with the board and told them who he wanted and who he didn't and they just accepted it.  We need another manager with that power for now rather than complete change as I just can't see it happening

Has to go, I just want to start fresh and have some level of optimism next season. I don't fully blame him for this season, the club from top to bottom is riddled with rot that needs cutting out. When we went down 2 years ago i was confident of us bouncing back, now i fear we might do a sunderland.

Just listened to his RL interview.

He's infuriating.

Why can he not find a moment to say 'I'd like to apologise to the fans. It's not been good enough, we've let them down. I want to thank them for travelling showing up over the course of this very difficult season'?

He just doesn't mention the fans, doesn't acknowledge them at games - arrogant? Ignorant?

Enzo would have struggled in the Premier League with the players at our disposal, especially playing the "Enzo way".  You can't really compare the situation because playing in the Championship is night and day to playing in the Premier League.Would we have been better off if he had stayed?  The answer is "Maybe".  It definitely isn't "Definitely".

Some managers are better than others, that's obvious, but the pond we're fishing in doesn't contain miracle workers.  If we ship out RVN, we might get someone a bit better, we might get someone the same or worse, but to think that a new manager will solve all our issues and somehow change the long term direction of the club is naive.

Nothing will change here until the hierarchy changes (and a good few players have been moved on).

When there is a fresh philosophy at the club with clear ambition and a commitment to getting things right, that is the time to change the manager.  Until then, it will be more of the same.

YET, despite this respect from the fan base, he has not once chosen to walk across and acknowledge the fans. Yesterday, he was looking for which opposition player to suck off and was all cheery. The man lacks integrity and dignity and we have too many of them with us.

He does this every game. Marches over to the opposition's star player/s.

I'd guess subconsciously he wants to associate with them. Thier success. And distance himself from losers like us. Hey! I'm one of you! I'm not one of them over there!

Like as if he knows half these fcking players.

A nasty narcissist man.

If RvN had of turned the season around with results and performances he would rightly expected the plaudits. Unfortunately the opposite happened with everything ending in dismal failure. It's not as though we were desperately unlucky in losing most of the matches by the odd goal etc. Of course the hierarchy is also guilty but there is little to suggest the current manager can galvanise the squad for next season.

Cooper’s goals scored and points per game were far superior to RvN’s so we know a big upgrade is possible.

A traffic cone would be a significant upgrade on RvN.

Think it’s clear for all to see he does not give a f**k at all, no other professional club at top flight level in any league will ever hire him again.

If we have really failed to put some sort of relegation severance release clause in his contract then its another bonus point to Top and Rudkins leadership masterclass. I honestly feel we are stuck with him if so.

Despite his record, Van Nistelrooy is hopeful he will be given the chance to continue in his role and lead the rebuild at the King Power Stadium.

He said following Leicester's relegation: "I’m focused on taking my responsibility to do the best things for the future and next season.

"Performances like Brighton and the Liverpool game are signs that the players are willing to do that.

"We have to take responsibility and that’s what I’m doing for the next five weeks and after that we have to see."

Van Nistelrooy highlighted the gulf in quality between the three promoted sides and the rest of the division, with Leicester and Southampton set to be joined by Ipswich in the Championshipnext season.

He is still keen on the job however and spoke about coming to an agreement with the owners over staying on.

Asked if he wants to continue, Van Nistelrooy said: "Of course. Then you have to find each other.

The winter window went a certain way and we have to take that into evaluations moving forward.

"If we are willing to do so, both sides, then we have to find each other, and of course the sooner the better."

I am flabbergasted that there are people even questioning should he stay. He has been absolutely diabolical! Even his team selection yesterday was incredible.
