They had weeks to bring in players and the board did nothing bought one player who’s a back up and we probably won’t see on the pitch for weeks. Disagree pal.  A quality manager ensures our weakness are mitigated.  The attitude and application of our defence was awful, this is why people turn to the Moyes, Dyches, Allardyce's of the world, they make sure your hard to beat.  Ruud's team today, looked unprepared, disorganised and not hungry enough, not up for the battle.

 

Ruud needs to manage a team that is in a progressive position, we are wrong for him

Dreadful individually at the back between the 2 centre backs, but good chunk of the blame is on Ruud here. He's playing a high line with the slowest defender in the league and a bloke who has 0 positional sense, whilst applying no pressure on the ball. 

 

Combination of those things are always going to result in shite. Only time we've looked any good is when we either press high, or defend in a low block. This tactic explicitly exposes all of our weaknesses. Dreadfully coached football team.

There's no way any other team or sane competent manager sticks with what they've just seen. 

I think he has to make a point and make 5 changes, even if that risks not being able to make any further changes. The game is done and he needs to show that will never ever be forgiven.
