The 'dragged duvet' seems however to have done the trick. It was never really for the owner and board to see from the stands and sit all embarrassed in their seats with a Sky Sports camera on their giggling faces, it was to get people talking.

 

The general flavour the media are now peddling about us is beginning to change.

 

From the The Mirror to The Times, they are now highlighting that the Owner and the Board have been for a number of seasons failing the club on multiple levels. and are continuing to fail still.

 

More and more media outlets, journalists etc. are starting to question the owner and the executive boards action's and poor decisions, but more importantly beginning to document their continual mistakes.

 

Reference to the last "internal review", did it actually take place? Have any lessons been learned? Some don't think so.

 

Yes, the players, the manager and his coaching staff need to take a long hard look at themselves, they too have to shoulder their portion of the blame of this mess.

 

I'm just glad that finally the media is printing the words that are matching the words found on these forum pages by disgruntled fans.

 

Will the 'bad press' towards the culprits in  KP Cockoo Land do any good, Who knows? 

 

But the question is, can they afford not to act now, now that the media is actually putting a spotlight on the reasons for this sorry affair.  The poor player and manager recutment, the bloated wages, the PSR issues, the fact that the fans see Teflon Jon as the main reason for these failings. 

 

Will they take steps to finally put right the now documented failings. IMO if they don't act and we see a repeat of the same failures next season it just proves a section of the fan base was right,  but KP, the Board etc are to arrogant for that scenario to pan out, and I hope they act, if only just to 'save face'

 

Maybe the duvet wasn't so pathetic, it did its intended job....people are talking and asking questions.

Seems like a lot of fans are obsessed with us and can’t quite understand why we’re angry. Maybe it’s jealously?

The whole Ranieri thing is nonsense. I don't remember a chant calling for his sacking in the ground, it was the most reluctant call for change ever. He was still getting his name sung in his final home game (Derby replay). It gets made out like we were storming the place demanding his removal. The players got a lot more criticism from us at the time for letting him down.

This is how I remember it. It felt like sacking your Grandad when it happened. I can’t really think of many Leicester fans turning on him, it was the right decision but the fans loved him and other clubs can **** off about their opinion on it for me.

This is what I can't understand about the KPFC lot. Most say they're aware of an issue, our man PaulW on this thread is a classic example, most say they know there needs to be a change and/or the club has got things wrong. Just like the Ranieri 2nd season. We all knew he'd lost the plot with the tactics, could see it wasnt working. So why are you just sitting on your hands? What about this club or this ownership makes you think, "this is fine" or I trust them to solve the problem? They never acknowledge anything or explain anything. They're a closed shop and treat supporters like inferiors.

 

If the fans don't ask for change, it won't happen. They're happy to stick their heads in the sand, hope it gets better and carry on regardless. However much you're gripped by Stockholm Syndrome, surely your love for the club outweighs it?
