I'm thinking Real Madrid, Arsenal and Dortmund tonight (I will be amazed if any don't win) but I saw the option to have a trixie, a fiver would return £35 as opposed to a treble that would return £10 (which is barely worth it to be honest). What's the catch?

A Trixie is 4 bets doubles and trebles, so a £5 Trixie is £20 stake in total, I can tell you now that on the prices of the above 3 it really isn't worth it as if you get a double up you would be still be down on the bet, not a bad bet for prices over Evens I always feel.

it's three doubles and a treble, so 4 bets and 4x your stake.

A trixie is 3 doubles and a treble. Best way to explain it is like this. You fancy A,B and C to win. A £5 trixie would constitute:

£5 on A & B to win

£5 on A & C to win

£5 on B & C to win

£5 on A,B & C to win

Therefore a £5 trixie requires a £20 stake.

Patent is a trixie + 3 singles, ie 7 bets. You just need one to win to get a return where you need 2 winners in a trixie to get something back. I only use patents in bigger priced selections

have people had much experience with titan bet? i've heard they can get funny and they've suspended my account until i verify it (unsurprisingly this has coincided with a good run for me with this account). I've e-mailed an attachment of my driving license for them to verify, how long does it take 'cause I wanna bet on the football tonight?

I've commented in the past about doing Lucky 15's, I like them an usually get return - usually just under my stake/just over my stake but i'm getting no-where fast doing them, just limiting losses really.

Yes, lots of problems with Titanbet. I won a fair amount through them and suddenly had to verify my account. They wanted the usual copies of passport, bank cards etc. They also wanted a photo of me holding my passport next to my face. Once sent and they were ok with it the payment went through. There are stories of you having to send documents to their office in the Philippines if they can't verify you by email. Titanbet won't process a withdrawal until after 48 hours, then its another few working days for it to hit your bank. I closed my account after the withdrawal was paid, ended up with a very nice profit with them in the end. There are many better firms out there, definitely one to avoid.

 

Edit : Make sure any scans you do are crystal clear, if anything can't be read then they ask you to post them the docs to verify.

It was on the horses, mostly favs but only about 3 won in the end I think, didn't break even. I normally do trixies / yankees for favourites, patents / L15's for bigger priced selections.

yeah i think i remember you mentioning something when i signed up in the first place. exactly the same's happened to me, i've won a tidy amount the past week or so and they've even started offering me sp only on most of the horses now. definitely closing the account once it's all sorted.

It took about a day for them to verify me after emailing them what they wanted. There in the Philippines and its the early hours there now, I would guess you'd get a reply tomorrow. Good luck.

 

I won my money with them through the casino mainly and they didn't freeze my account though.
