3:10 Southwell : Diamond Surprise Win @ 2.75

Diamond Surprise is edging up the weights but still looks the most likely winner. She has run two good races at this course, not beaten far either time in handicaps. She steps back into a very poor maiden and although she is up 3lb from that last run, she should find this significantly easier, particularly receiving the fillies weight allowance. Spiritual Healing ran a decent enough race on her debut but she was entered into a claimer last weekend and this is a very different surface (sire needed good ground so maybe Southwell hasnt the best surface)

3:40 Southwell : Ingleby Arch Win @ 3.50

Ingleby Arch is a multiple course an distance winner and looks capable of winning this relatively uncompetitive event. He won here two starts ago off a mark of 73 before disappointing off a higher mark at Great Leighs next time out. I am not sure the higher mark was to blame as he has won off 84 (5lb higher than today) and a 2.5 length win off 77 (just 2lb lower than today, about a year ago. Stable had a winner the other day so are in some kind of competitive form and have a 17% strike rate at Southwell, which isnt too bad either.

Not bad if they come in, but I can see one of them being a draw. You've made a schoolboy error too.

Never cross your bets over. If MK or Scunny fook up, both bets are down the shitter.
