This sums my betting luck up completely.

Had a bet on Forest and Derby to win, so if the worse came to worst, i'd feel a little better. If anything other than that happened I would have felt fine. The only thing that could possibly make me feel almost as bad as the worst case scenario, would be the highly unlikely event that we throw away a lead and it feels like a loss.

So now i've lost my money and im probably feeling worse than the worst case scenario.

Apologies for the gloat, but what a fantastic afternoon of horsey racing. Had around a £5 left in my account, so thought I'd see how far it would take me... well here are some of the highlights;

Leicester

Wyndham Wav, £2.50 e/w at 10/1 = £35

George Baker (trainer and riden by George Baker), £10 @ 5/2 = £35

Warwick

Eshoog £10 e/w @ 9/2 = £74

Knocker Knowles £12 e/w @ 11/2 = £106.50

Sugar Hiccup £39 & £99 @ 13/8 = £63 & £159.93 respectively

Yarmouth

Arctic Maiden, £16 at 7/4 = £44

Latte, £24 @ 15/8 = £69

Mudana, £25 @ 11/10 = £52.50

Katy's Secret £20 @ 3/1 = £80

(Three in bold were a Fallon trebble by the way - sadly I didn't have them in a trebble!)

I had some losses and near misses as well, none more so than Into the Wind which was a photo second at 9/2, but the end result was a cash out of £300 with £25 spare in the account... which was nice :whistle:

Who needs Berts racing tips (only joking Bert, your tips are always appreciated). Must stay away from the Racing Post app on my phone tomorrow!

Barcelona V Porto tonight. Super Cup.

I'm going to wait and see what team Barcelona put out, if they put a good team out I will lump on them. Also seen Barcelona -1 at just over evens.

Fabregas second trophy in just over a week? :P

Just started getting into the old betting malarky. Can anyone recommend a site with data/form etc on it for the various European leagues too as well as domestic? Or do people just generally go off intuition/Sky Sports?

T20 semi today..

Leicestershire 11/10 to beat Lancashire (5/6 favs) ?..

Leices - 13 games completed - 11 wins (including beating Lancs in the group stages) - 2 defeats..

Lancs - 16 games completed - 10 wins - 5 defeats - 1 tie..

Double your money with the foxes.. :thumbup:
