Decided not to use bankers anymore. They hardly affect your winnings so if you don't include them you'll only lose out on a couple of quid. I put barca in my accy last week as my 'banker' and they drew after being 2-0 up. Ruined it completely.

Yeah, I had Barca last week, last of my teams needed for 260 odd quid off £10. I could have covered it as they were the last team to play e.g. with a bit of money on the draw or a Sociedad win.

Although I thought there would be no point seeing as Barca were already 2-0 up when I looked. How wrong was I.

I'm sorry but I have no sympathy with anybody who includes a 'banker' in a bet. They're what, 1/5 minimum? For a good team at home anyway. Away is just a bit risky (as Man City adequately demonstrated). Anybody with half a betting brain cell wouldn't give it a sniff.

Depends doesn't it - lucky 15's pay out a bonus on top of the odds, so if you have 3 choices for the odds and then one as a banker that's not so bad - just have to pick the right banker. Didn't Real Madrid lose last night, that would no doubt have upset many people's accumulator.

And talking of losing 2 goal leads - I do hope Ipswich don't lose theirs!

Finding a bit of joy in sticking a tenner on single events at the moment. Won a bit off Braga at 5/4 midweek and then another decent little profit on Ipswich (-2) at half time tonight which was 7/4. Slow profit, but does a job if you can find some value somewhere.
