No, not really. The horse was always going to win. Good £1k profit.

Any profit in betting is good. But I don't understand why someone would risk there life savings to only win £1000.

Bet hey he had the balls to do it and it paid off fair play to the bloke.

GB Women are 4-5 and GB Men are evens in the football.

I'm getting a double on aswell, On Will Hill you can get 4/5 on GB Women and 5/4 on GB Men - 3.05/1 Double.

A bet on the football games might give me the interest I need for Team GB football, i'm finding the football a real stuggle to get into, end up turning over after 20 - 30 mins.

Surprising because I thought i'd stuggle to get interested in the swimming, athletics, cycling, e.t.c, as i've never really been bothered about them but i've found those sports more interesting than the football. lol

The only decent thing to bet on in Scottish football is BTTS. Divs 1,2 and 3 are usually goals galore!

Fair point! But I've not played goals galore since they slashed the odds ridiculously at around February/March time, bookies were on a big downer!

I reckon it was another ploy by Paddy Power to advertise and gave him a big wad of cash.

Did you see the show? If so, would he really walk into a Paddy Power, in the middle of Bradford and collect 10k cash?! It was planned imo

I also wouldn't walk into a bookies in the middle of Bradford, with a Louis Vuitton bag.
