That'll do me on a tuesday night.

I had a couple of pound on each of those two at 4/1 and 5/1. Also did a 13p Canadian on your 6 match BTTS and win bet but took out Cambridge to leave 5 games. 3 came in and made about 7 pound profit. If Juve had scored again I would have been well up with 4 out of 5.

Thanks for the tips, I'd offer to send you a free £10 but only made about £25 so can't this time!

Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, AC Milan, Porto, Schalke, Atletico Madrid & a Napoli/Dortmund draw.

£46 from a quid.

Arsenal, Porto & Schalke drawing, and Napoli lead by a goal with Dortmund having their manager and keeper sent off, would be surprised if Napoli don't win it.

think there is defo money to be made on the btts/result market.

My brother inlaw picked 6 at the weekend and did a £1 acca then 20 trebles @45p. hit one treble and got £45 after laying out £10. if you hit it big one week youd be laughing.

End of the road for me. Last night was the last time i'll ever place a bet. I'm a gambling addict and i've pretty much hit rock bottom, only now can I accept that and do everything possible to never succumb to it again. I shall be seeking some form of therapy, even if it's from myself through hypnosis as this cannot go on.

I lost over £2000 last night, no joke. I feel sick typing this. It's not the first time i've lost such grotesque amounts of money either but it's the last. I have kidded myself in the past that it wasn't that bad and have felt like I do right now, that i'll quit for good but I am absolutely convinced that I will maintain the mental desire to overcome this.

In the past i've walked away from all forms of gambling only to slowly be drawn back in, usually with some nice easy wins and it builds up from there.

I'll never win the amount of money i've lost, the odds would be over 20,000/1 (£20,000 losses minimum, stating the obvious)

I'd like to say it's been a good gig but truth be told I just feel absolutely disgusted, it's a disease. I'll be no less of a man for not being a gambler, for not doing several hundred at Cheltenham every year or 4 figures up the casino every so often.

The problem with gambling is, it's only a problem when you lose. If you go to the casino and win a load of dough or you clear up one weekend on horses, the football and golf then everythings spot on and a piece of piss. But what does it actually give you? A buzz and some cash that you'd not ordinarily have had and it gets blown a lot more easily than your hard earned bunce. My problem is the frightening losses I can rake up when my head has gone and i'm chasing to claw it back.

This morning i've just had to apply for a personal loan to plug the shit storm I caused last night. Luckily it was accepted immediately and I can now try to piece my finances back together.

All of my savings and the rest up in smoke.

It stops as of now. I'm done. I've overcome many things before but this will be the hardest but i'm determined and when I do, that will give me a far bigger buzz than any flutter or win.

Take it easy boys and be careful.

All the best

Ric

I give it about 3 months before those 3/1 and 7/2 prices start becoming 17/10 and 2/1.

Good luck with it mate, although without trying to sound a sanctimonious **** - how do you even manage to lose such money?

Although I'm generally quite a poor gambler, I've never really bet anything more than I feel comfortable with doing so and the thought of chasing losses makes me want to wretch. I'm quite lucky in the sense that I'm satisfied to keep sticking on these one pound accys and (very) occasionally one of them comes in.

I honestly couldn't work in a bookies. I was in Ladbrokes on Granby Street a few weeks back at dinner as I had an hour with fvck all else to do, so watched SSN and whatnot, put a couple of accys on but nothing major and in that time, I saw some bloke (who looked like an older Knockaert) lose £600 on the roulette, all at £100 a time. He kept going back up for more £100 codes and he was nearly in tears by the end. Avoided him as I didn't want to be drawn into any of it but I felt sorry for the bloke working there, always have a chat with him about football and was helpful in me applying to work there before I got this job (dodged a bullet IMO, thinking back), yet there he is effectively selling this bloke the license to fvck up his life and although it is a business, it must be pretty hard to watch that, regardless of what you think of that other bloke pissing his money away.

I can't get my head round how anyone can live their life gambling money. Alright doing it when you can afford it but when you're chasing your losses that you need to live on, then it's a dangerous industry.
