I know what it's like to be in that situation.

The easy way for me is setting deposit limits, even if you want to bet more you can't go over the limit set - job done.

Yeah that's exactly what I've done. Frustrating at times if I want to place a bigger bet but at the end of the day it keeps me safe from going over the top. Also closed most of my accounts online. Only have 2 open now.

I reckon and this is purely guessing (I only keep records during Cheltenham and that's because I go abit crazy during Cheltenham) but I reckon i'm about even with the bookies tbh, perhaps very slightly down.

I lose alot, but when I win, I have fairly decent wins.

I used to stick to £10 and no more a week, it has crept up to £15 - £20 a week, but i'm to tight to bet anymore than that weekly really.

TBH I normally play about with my online accounts too, I start my accounts with about £10, I normally win and get them quite high, then lose it all! lol But the way I see it is there is only £10 of my own money in the account so although I should withdraw the winnings and be 'up' i'm playing with winnings and if I lose them I lose them.

I've been stupid really, had about £150 in my William Hill account, slowly whittled it down to nothing, did the same with my SkyBet account, and doing the same with my Bet365 account, like I say I should withdraw and be 'up' but I don't.

£5 SkyBet Club;

Liverpool v Southampton

Barnsley v Watford

Shrewsbury v Wolves

Chelsea v Fulham

Doncaster v Forest

Think i've been abit greedy there tbh, I was playing it simple and going for a treble (Liverpool, Watford, Wolves) which payed just over 5/1 but I added Chelsea then Forest and that payed 16/1, greed got the better of me, again, hopefully it pays off though!

Cos' I'm a sad cvnt I keep a spreadsheet of betting wins/losses.

Few seasons back made just short of £1k that season mainly just betting £10s and £20s here and there.

Last season down a few hundred.

This season I'm down already :(lol

Tonights result were bloody awful.

I've considered doing that myself to be honest.

....

So yes chances are it's sad lol

I only use accounts now where you can't cancel withdrawals (Paddy & Skybet to name 2). Too many times have I won a sum of money, withdrawn it, later in the day got the urge for a bet or a bit of casino, cancelled the withdrawal and lost the lot. Have put £20 daily deposit limits on both and always withdraw 2/3rds of any big win. I spend half the week away with work and don't like betting on my mobile which certainly helps to stop betting daily. Never ever use betting shops either.

My Will Hill account was well in profit after a few big 4-digit casino wins in the last 12 months but recently closed it after an argument with their customer services, I'm definitely out of pocket with Sky and PP. No idea how much in total i've won / lost across all the accounts, had about 12 accounts at one point, most are closed now. Don't think I want to find out the cash flow tbh, have certainly reduced my spending on them anyway.

Cheers for the kind words. Haha good point about the avatar, it's going. Hahaha

Don't know you Ric, but money is just paper, you can have a rich life without the money so don't ponder on the money you have lost.

Look up, never back and get that richness back into your life. All the best

Wolves. Mental value surely. Odds against at Shrewsbury. Early KO tho and nobody likes a go on the early KO do they.

Newcastle, QPR, Peterboro & Sociedad, 11/1.

Left it late but we'll take that. Got them to kickstart another accy too. Wolves, Leverkusen, Dortmund, Celtic & Hibs @ 16/1.
