Terrible work but happy to lose a bit given the circumstances. Only winning bet was a £10 Arsenal/Bayern double which paid under evens so haven't even clawed back the days stakes.

 

If Man Utd and Newcastle win I've got 3 correct from 5 on a Canadian so may just get the stake back on that one.

 

Concord Rangers let me down on a 6 game BTTS. Why I bothered with that game I'll never know!

Fuming.

 

Shit day betting, I was going to bet on a horse called Filbert in the 3.35 @ Newbury but didn't put one on the bookies, so I thought ah i'll get in on down the stadium, the wankers 'don't take bets on horses' at the stadium! FFS!

 

Not won a bean today, think the good couple of weeks I had have been equalled out now, normal service has resumed. :banghead:

4 out of my last 5 bets have now lost by 1 leg, QPR done me today. cnuts.  :mad:

 

I'm not getting a sense of deja vu or anything, beyond a ****ing joke, 4/11 shots let me down. If i bet on 3 1/100 shots in running now i can absolutely categorically tell you now that 1 would let me down. :frusty:  :@  :mad:  :mad:

I'm prescribing myself a week or two off for me.

 

Fuming this weekend, made some silly bets, chasing my losses, not even got my money back on bets i've placed and I find myself getting more and more wound up.

 

I've not lost alot, but lost lots of small bets.

 

A week or two off to calm down and give myself a break, my accounts are actually in pretty good shape but i've been here before carried on making silly bets and emptied my accounts, i'm not letting that happen again.

 

I could actually scream about some of the bets i've made this weekend and although i've not lost alot keep beating myself up about it.

Gambling can be the most happiest feeling mixed with one of most angriest feeling.

 

If only the SportingBet accepted that bet on Filbert at the stadium yesterday I wouldn't be posting this!

£25 on Barca tonight, Bilbao are unbeaten at home but have shipped a fair few goals there.

 

£25 on will secure a £15 profit which isn't bad really considering Barca odds are usually terrible. Barca have Messi out but Bilbao also suffering with key injuries.

What are people's opinions on trixies,patents,yankees and lucky 15 etc. When are they worth doing in football.

 

I noticed I usually get 2/3 in my trebles and more often than not just one incorrect pick in an accy. Won't I make more money that way in these types of bets?

They're only worth doing if the odds on each team are evens or over imo, especially with small stakes. In my Yankee I normally go for the games where both teams are 6/4 and 7/5 or something similar and maybe chuck in a 2 or 3/1 shot if I fancy them.

 

You'll normally need 3 out of 4 for a small profit. If all 4 come in you won't get near as much as you would if you'd put the whole stake on the acca, but it's still pretty decent.

Yeah only do them if all selections are odds against. No point doing one with all odds on selections. I've found that if 3/4 come in you'll usually double or treble your stake and if 2/4 come in you'll get roundabout your stake back, so it's a fairly safe bet IMO.
