Just for the sake of having my opinion I think the lad who told the story is a nobhead and there is noway that story is even true.. 

 

As if the pair of wallys who were putting hundreds of pounds on bets were alone in the shop and weren't seen and whatever bookies it was didn't notice the money being taken out or the fact hundreds of pounds was being placed on bets when they were working.

Returns £68

And got 50p on BTTS extra

Posh v Kidderminster

Watford v Bristol City

Returns £17

Thank the lord i didnt go with backing against them. I have many times this season though (and won thankfully)

You weirdo. Why would I make it up. In a bookies only 2 people work at one time. I was the assistant manager. How could they notice bets were being placed. They were placed in other bookies. So many weirdos on this site

So who was the person in the bookies when you and your gormless mate were strolling in and out of your bookmakers, taking money out of the safe and going to place bets in another bookies.

Nah, I'm not having it, doesn't happen, I know a manager of a bookmakers and mentioned this 'story' to him.. His reaction to put it in simple terms was this - lol and said that could never happen.

Cracking imagination and story though.

How could it never happen ? The safe is in the kitchen area. No cameras are in the kitchen..u put the money in ure coat pocket... Walk accross the road to the bookies. Place a bet and then walk back to work. Take your coat off and back at work. How do you think they know something is going on ? You are nuts mate.
