Saw a 'boosted' treble on Betfair and went with it, just a token couple of quid, I'm not convinced tbh but thought it makes abit of interest for tonight.

Man Utd, Chelsea, Real Madrid - 3/1.

Think Real Madrid should win but with the start if the season less than a week away not really sure what teams Man Utd and Chelsea will put out.

On the same bet mate

Real currently 1-0 Chelsea 2-0 up and United 0-0 at half time

Just want peoples thoughts:

Is Maribor (8/5) a good value single vs Celtic in the Champions League qualifying? Celtic have already been beaten in the qualifying rounds and are basically only through on a technicality. And no Fraser Forster either wont help their cause. I seem to remember Maribor being discussed as a tough place to go, despite not knowing a great deal about their side.

Seems like a very generous price on paper, especially at home. Any thoughts?

all i know of maribor is that birmingham beat them home and away whilst in the championship a few years back. so it might not be that tough a place to go. unless they're better now. or just didn't care about the europa league.

celtic were woeful last round though so might look alright. price on the DNB?

Maribor and Celtic are both 5/6 on the draw no bet. It may simply be too close to call and one to avoid. The home win price looked very generous

hmm might add a 5/6 dnb onto the end of a double or treble after looking into it a bit more, like you say a tough one, both sides pretty poor and i personally don't know a lot about either other than celtic should've lost last round. will have a browse see if anyone's onto anything i think, if nobody has strong shouts might leave it alone.

an interesting selection though for anyone wanting a play. good luck if you are.

Managed to turn £29.30 into £44 on the ATP Cincinnati tennis by backing Sloane Stephens to beat Andrea Petkovic, so now the plan is to withdraw it and start again from £5.

Plan currently is:

Man Utd (1/3) v Swansea

Portsmouth (1/1) v Cambridge

£5 would return £13.30 to move onto sundays action

Well **** me seems my luck is really changing for the better (touch wood).

For the second time in a row, a 90th minute goal has gone in my favour as opposed to against me as it so very often has.

Man Utd won with what must have been the last kick of the match.

Nigel Pearson lma manager of the year 50/1. considering how close pulis got (or did he win it?) for keeping palace up playing dull football and Bruce was in with a shout for keeping hull up and having a cup run Nige should walk this when we finish top half, have a cup run and play dazzling football most weeks. Easy money.

Bayern Munich 11/10.

Dortmund missing many players so I have just read. Possibly wait for in-play however price will possibly be around 1.8 then.

Bayern are playing an unfamiliar 3 at the back with one out and out defender amongst it and are trailing 1-0 at ht.

What does draw no bet mean?

If the match is a draw then the stake is refunded

they have a quick spin and an auto spin option so just chose about 15 numbers, put a quid or 50p on each and let it spin in the background whilst reading on here :D. occasionally flicking back thinking wow i'm gonna be rich after seeing 100+ then thinking ahh well was fun whilst it lasted as it got lower and lower haha. like i say free money though. will put it into a decent account somewhere and throw a few ante post bets and a few weekend bets for sure.

betfair offering a five pound free FGS bet for the first 6 games of whichever team you back to win the league for more than £20. might have a crack on that.

and pp giving a free £2 bet every goal your top scorer pick scores all season. could be sweet too.

No every team starts with a certain amount of Handicap points So they are added to the final total.

As I think Chelsea are favourites they start from scratch and dont get any points.

Last year I had Palace each way and thought they'd came top. Came second or third as Liverpool did so well with a good handicap
