Just got back from seeing Avatar. Absolutely beautiful and hilariously lame at the same time.

Went to see Avatar yesterday. The 3D effect is gorgeous, although the glasses make the picture look a bit more dim and the colours fade slightly, too. I hadn't seen a 3D pic in years, so some objects being so close in the foreground was a nice treat.

Story-wise pretty pathetic, seen it all before, cheap love story and a mix of several different worn-out themes (natives, indians, rain forest, Vietnam).

Just watched What We Do Is Secret which is the story of Darby Crash and The Germs. fooking brilliant.

Went to see Up In The Air the other day. Also fooking brilliant. Not Juno good but i still give Reitman props.

Watched Football Factory and Saw 3 again today as well. Both average but killed some time.

Brilliant. A Charming Journey/Roadtrip from Sam Mendes, it also has a great soundtrack Highly recommend.
