Roland Emmerich's "Anonymous" was quite enjoyable - a departure from his regular action spectacles.

Great cast, good drama, tremendous set design. Costumes, hairstyles and moustaches were spot on.

And someone I know plays a (minor) part in it.cool.gif

And you have a keen eye. Sleuth is a ridiculously good film, especially considering the fact that it revolves around two actors.

Charge of The Light Brigade is one of my favourites, David Hemmings is one of the most talented forgotten actors that didn't get the recognition he deserved.

I bought a couple of bootlegs the other day...

I`v not seen Hannibal Brooks for (errrrrr) , must be 20 years :S

Yeah The Jokers is notoriously hard to find, I'm not sure if its ever been released officially on VHS or DVD so I had to get a bootleg from eBay. Michael Crawford and Oliver Reed play brothers who attempt to steal the Crown Jewels as a publicity stunt.

Is that where he has to lead elephants over the Alps. Sort of remember it. A few years old. Oliver Reeds been dead quite a few years.

Thats the one. Its a war film with an elephant what more could you want haha.

eBay is pretty handy for bootlegs I also got Play Dirty a while back...

Never watched it on account of it being credited as one of the worst films ever made. Probably responsible for Murphy not getting any decent roles for years.

Its definitely not one of his better films lol
