Watched it last week. Didn't know much about it except it being the directorial debut of Paddy Considine. Wasn't exactly prepared for what I saw, but would highly recommend.

Just watched RED.

Was an average Action, weak comedy. The sort of film you can watch without having to think to much but is still entertaining enough to keep you interested. A good film to slob to.

In response to films similar to The Shawshank Redemption, check out The Green Mile! Same writer as SR (Stephen King), same director (Frank Darabont) and set in a prison.
