That's a bit creepy. I saw this thread pop to the top and I thought i might add to it, saying i had not seen a good film for ages. In the few seconds it took to click the thread and for the page to load i remembered i had the Prestige to watch and I thought i would ask if anyone has seen and if it was any good. And then i scrolled down and there it is. Right there. It must be a sign.

Managed to finally watch Cabin in the Woods. I think the majority of dud reviews that it has got, are simply not horror fans and 'didn't get it'. Other than the annoying 'stoner''s acting, I thought this was a competent and well written homage to every genre of horror of the last 50 years, which is a feat in itself! Though the ending was a bit a 'damp squid', the concept was inventive and reasonably inventive, though not masterfully directed.

Having just watched this myself, I thought it was excellent. So many lol moments in it too. Good watch and a breath of fresh air not seen since Scream back in the day IMO. Hopefully there's a sequel, there's talk of one.

Just got round to watching The Amazing SpiderMan. First 1/3 was okay. Then it turned dreadful, and before it could redeem itself, it got fooking worse.

"Promise me you'll never see her again..." Don't worry mate, if she's in the next shitquel to this bag of crap, I won't have to worry about seeing her or any more of this messy drivel. At least the previous threequels had a sense of humour despite it going down hill half way through the second one.
