Looks really good. Great cast as well. Definitely one to watch, especially based on a true story too.

Pacific RIm. Great when it's Jaeger's vs Kaiju, but when it's human beings, there is little spark, with Ron Perlman stealing the show with only a few minutes screen time. Formulaic ending.

 

Fun, but could have been better. Disappointing from del Toro.

 

GlaDos was a nice touch though.

 

 

 

 

On a side note, saw the trailer for The Lone Ranger and yet again I am baffled, in this day and age, that Tonto is being played by a white man. Especially when Jay Silverheels was so iconic as a native American actor.

Pacific Rim Job - What an utter pile of steaming shite. Never has the phrase style over substance seemed so apt.

 

The most horrifically cheesy drama class acting from most on screen, which is hardly surprising when they had a script that could have been written by a 12 year old.

 

I think I would probably have enjoyed it more with the sound down just to watch the nice CGI.

Who puts the word rim in a mainstream film title?

 

Saw Monster's University tonight. Enjoyed it actually, not as good as the first one but it was never going to be. Still it was fun and made me laugh quite a bit.

What was people's opinions on Men In Black 3? Was it better than Men In Black 2?

 

For me i say it was better than Men In Black 2 slightly though of course Men In Black 3 is full of plot holes. The only downer i found with Men In Black 3 was probably the plot, the idea of involving time travel with Men In Black really went too far for me. Even though the plot in 2 is more simpler then the third movie, i found the story line of K getting his memory back was starting to get on my nerves after a while. Even though I do like Tommy Lee Jones and probably the sequels would have missed him I do believe they should have brought a new character to partner up with J. Does anybody agree?

Agreed. It was always going to be a challenge to live up to the first film, but they did a good job with it.

Watching a film called Trapped on Sony. All was going find and half believable until the stalling and restart of  a light aircraft and then landing it on a busy freeway.
