Perks of being a wallflower - a very intelligent take on the "teen movie" genre. Lots of issues covered in a way that is directed excellently.

I'd really recommend this to anyone! Don't be put off by the "teen movie" category because it's so much more than that.

Also has Hermione Granger in it looking pretty fine.

Watched Equilibrium for the very first time tonight. Cracking movie. Matrix-esque in its action-sequence execution, with a similar message about utopian totalitarian regimes.

 

Having Christian Bale in it helps, too.

 

 

Good call. I really liked the sunrise and the puppies or kitten in the boot scene. I thought the bit about the son was bit corny though.

There is a film on Channel Four some of you will be interested in.The look Of love. A biopic of Phil Raymond  who had an empire of strip clubs and pornography publishing.

On BBC 1 about the same time is Pirates of the Caribbean the sequel.

Take your choice.
