50/100 - Perks Of Being A Wallflower - 9/10

Expected to dislike it and have been putting off watching it for a while. I didn't think I could see Emma Watson as anything other than a masterbatory dream ... I mean Hermione. I was wrong. Great flick. I'm a sucker for a coming of age quirky romance with damaged characters that doesn't hit all the usual beats. So so good. If I hadn't watched Dope yesterday this would have scored higher.

Have you seen one called Igby Goes Down?

The Dangerous Lives Of Altar Boys is another good one.

I remember liking Igby. Macauley Culkins brother right?

Not heard of the other one but I will check it out.

Orange County another good one

With Jack Black and Tom Hanks' son? I remember that being more of a slapstick comedy wasn't it?

Yeah that's right, he's also in the other film, quite a good cast in Altar Boys.

The Walk - thoroughly enjoyable bio-pic of Philippe Petit, the French high-wire artist.

Builds well to the final scene which is excellently shot and it really feels as if you're up there with Philippe as he traverses across the Twin Towers.

The Soloist- 8/10 I really liked Jamie Foxx's portrayal of schizophrenia but the dialogue at times were bit arty waffly.

The Lone Ranger- 7.5/10 I thought it does not deserve all slack that it got, it was an very enjoyable film but I thought Depp could have sell his character bit more.

The Maze Runner 6/10- I saw some debate on this, I thought they wasted the concept, I preferred Hunger Games and Divergent lot more.
