I'm guessing his four Horseman include Angel and Storm from that trailer, possibly Wolverine too.

Apocalypse was always a power house in the comics so I'm wondering at his abilities in this movie apart from being a powerful shape shifter well beyond Mystiques abilities.

Since we have Apocalypse I do wonder if we will see Cable appear?

Do not really like the Saw films, the first one was decent but basically they are just torture porn in my opinion and I just find the sequels tedious.

Still, they are better than those awful Cabin Fever movies, how they got  Sean Astin to appear in one of them I'll never know.

Going to see star wars tonight. Words cannot express how excited I am!

 

The reviews suggest that not only is it not shit (which was all I was really hoping for), it's actually very good.

 

I share your excitement (although I'm probably not going to be able to go for a couple of weeks)

The trailer for star wars makes it look about 90% guns and explosions where presumably, despite the odds being stacked against them, the good guys will eventually win thanks in no small part to the bad guys' inability to aim straight. For that reason, unless somebody convinces me it isn't just another shit generic action movie, I won't be watching.

A generic action film will be a huge improvement on the borefest of the last 3 Star War films.

 

I've just bought the Bluray boxset of the whole lot, so I've actually paid money for the prequels AGAIN, having seen them at the cinema.

 

I know my lad will like them (which is why I bought a version with them in) but it does feel weird handing over cash for something I know is total shite

Outside of the first, I didn't think the prequels were that bad.

 

The first is painful, and the next two marginally less so, but I think they're still hard work.  Kids like them more than I'd expect though - I thought they'd find them well boring.

 

Started watching the original Star Wars again last night - it holds up pretty well considering how old it is.  It feels so different from the prequels (and it's not just down to the 1970s special effects) in terms of story, dialogue, pacing etc etc etc that you would've thought that it was made by someone else completely.  I still don't know what George was thinking when he started spewing out The Phantom Menace et al.  I actually feel a bit tense knowing that I'm going to have to watch it in full with the boy at some point in the next fortnight

Darth Maul is the only good thing to come out of The Phantom Of Menace, it's a pity they killed him off in the first film. In all the build up for his character back in 99 you would have thought he would have been sticking around for all the prequels.

 

Anyway seeing Force Awakens on Friday, I'm more curious than excited about the whole thing.
