Let's have a films thread.

Didn't watch it due to getting locked in my own bedroom.

That swedish vampire movie was beyond weird, I couldnt work out whether it was truely brilliant or absolute garbage.

But it still made me watch every last second of it.

Just been to see Inglourious Basterds.

Fantastic film, Tarantino back at his almost ridiculous best I'd say

"Quite frankly, watching Donny beat Nazi's to death is the closest we ever get to going to the movies. "

My Mum wants me to go with her to see The Time Traveller's Wife.

I know I'll be disappointed... I always am by films where I've already read the book. They never seem to live up to my expectations. :/

Is Avatar an old cartoon?

I recognise the name.

your thinking of

name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>">
name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

which weirdly they are making a film of too which looks like this

name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>">
name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

Saw this last night, wasn't what I was expecting it to be like but I really liked it. Don't know who the actor is but thought whover played that German Colonel was really good.

Christoph Waltz has been appearing in TV and film for about 20 odd years in Germany and Austria. He's really, really good, but plays psychos most of the time and would rather get away from that cliché. lol

Speaking of it, I guess I have to see "Inglorious Basterds" myself now.

A sports movie about Rugby tonight, no idea how it will turn out.

Did you know they are making a film about the South African rugby team in 1995? Mandela is played by Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon plays Pienaar!!

I watched Away Days: The Pack last night, the film is alright to be fair, hooligan film set in late 70s, early 80s.

Read the book...much better.

Looking forward to 'The Hurt Locker' in a week's time!

Yeh the book is supposed to be better, the film is supposed to be about Tranmere Rovers but no mention of them in the film, strange.

Looking foward to the new, The Warriors film comming out.
