Enjoy it while it last's Manwell - Aths will be topping that all year round.

To be perfectly honest I do think you'll win it having played the apparently amazing Peacock and beaten them, although knowing our luck we will lose to them 10-1 in the league having beat them in a friendly. Herd Cropston are alright but not great.

Was hoping for an easy start as we have one of our main midfielders out till the end of September but you and Swannington is about as hard as it gets.

I will be pretty disappointed if we don't top the League because I thought we had a good enough squad last season but last year's squad compared to this year's is nothing and I'm sure you will agree when we play you. I think our hardest game will be against Loughborough Royal Oak, they have some really good players playing for them in Ryan Molloy, Darryl and two good defenders.

Can't wait for the League to start.

Don't think Ryan will be playing for Lough RO but he is back from England so it's a possibility.

Final friendlies sorted for Sunday and Tuesday biggest tests out the lot for us.

Whitwick Village on Sunday

Birstall Trees on Tuesday.

Nice to see we've got you in a friendly.

I've just seen the last 2 posts i "supposebly" wrote on here and i can safely say that it was not me (I only saw this thread today). I would like to apologize if these messages caused any offence.

My 15 year old cousin was staying at my house on the dates when they were posted and thought it would be funny to make me look like an a***hole. I will now make sure i logout after every visit to the forum from now on. I was quite surprised how much he knew about wvfc tbh, he must have actually listened to me all those times i was telling him about our side.

Unfortunately I am unavailable for our last friendly on sunday, but i wish your side all the best and i will make sure i find out the result from my manager. I hope this has straightened a few things up.

P.s. I did know that Burton had signed that Ray lad and i'll be glad that i'll be up the other end of the pitch when he's attacking lol.
