Can't buy a win in the league. Knock 340+ off of India. lol.

he's been poor this season for his own standards.

Robson seems to be the new talent.

His brother is Sam Robson. Both very talented!

The Indian bowling attack were dreadful, taking nothing away from Robson, Smith and Redfearn though, the 3 of them batted very well.

 

I did see Sharma's figures at one stage and they were horrific - he was going around 10 an over. Let's hope he's in the team at Trent Bridge.

 

Hopefully we can transfer this to the County Championship.

It should give us a lot of confidence with the bat.

But it's the bowling that bothers me more - our bowling averages are woeful in the Championship and we seem to be regularly chasing 180+ targets in t20. I hope Freckingham gets a chance this season, he looked good at times last year.

He's injured, otherwise he'd be in the side.

Wouldn't judge an Indian bowling attacking on their seamers to be fair. Not really known for a dangerous pace attack are they, never have been.

Well if county can knock 300 odd against them it may well be captain cooks lucky day, hopefully be able to bat himself in to form this test series.

Worcestershire have 5 this season.

Worcs have been clever with their overseas pro.

To the T20 I reckon county should finish the competition with a fight, no more nurdling and prodding it around through the middle overs and the bowlers get pasted anyway so I would play batters who bowl.

I reckon the team should be-

Cobb

Smith

Redfearn

O'Brien

Styris

Wells

Thackor (now fit)

Taylor

Raine

Ireland/jones/buck/ Shrek

Naik

This is a far more aggressive line up, Cobb, Naik, Redfearn can provide the spin option, while Raine, Thackor, A nother, Taylor and Styris (if fit) can bowl the seam. Potentially 7 bowlers and bat right down to Raine. Maybe Thornley in for Taylor could also work.
