80 with 5 wickets remaining. Ali 24 off 163 balls :unsure:

He's done something we haven't done for a while, batted and batted and batted.

With our bowlers averaging well and clearing teams up, we've lacked someone who can give them a bit of a break.

Come 6pm, that 24 could be massive.

Exactly this!!

Just somebody to at least dig in and frustrate/tire the bowlers...not really happened all season.

Doesn't matter if it takes until 6pm just nudge the odd single or 2 and get that win

So impressed with the bowlers throughout the game and then the batters especially today, NOB, Adil, Aggers, Raine and McKay were outstanding in the chase today, we never would of won this last year, determination, concentration, and resilience, it was fantastic! And the whole game was superb, something in the pitch for everyone! Well done LCCC

That should give some belief. Can't fault Lewis Hill but we need an experienced opener to partner Robson.

Great guts from the middle order including Agathagelou who pay push on to offer strength in depth. Ali looks a real prospect, great application.

Can see two more wins now.

Hopefully they can pick up another couple of wins before the season ends. Imagine that might aid in recruiting people.. a sign of genuine improvement. 

 

It has to be said though they have gone backwards if anything in the limited overs comps..
