I agree Adam, the County are part culpable.

But harpenden, imagine if the ECB had chucked the £36 million budget at the Blast rather than this new crap.

I take that point, I really do. I just don’t think the new stuff is crap. I think what I’m saying is I’m really struggling to keep committed to the County. Doesn’t help I live 80 miles away, but that hasn’t stopped me having a season ticket over the road for years. Perhaps I’ve just got fed up of years of sub standard performance from County so I want something new. And I know that makes me a traitor to the cause!

Now the England players have cleared off some of the Hundred line ups look no better than a normal Blast game to me, especially with Covid meaning some overseas players haven't come over for the tournament.

I was surprised to see Chris Benjamin get a contract after a single t20 for Warks.

He looks good don't get me wrong so will be interesting how he gets on with Davies and Burgess both at the club next season.

England look completely screwed for this India series.

Hardly anyone has held a bat in real cricket for months.

I bet the Counties still somehow end up with the blame for that rather than the ECB's vanity project though!

A shambolic month gets even worse. How long are these disciplinary issues going to continue?

If true, then foolish from Ben Mike, but just consider how we've been systemically targeted on this.

Yorkshire ball tampered against us and Somerset keeper cheated.

In one case, nothing happened, in one they did the least possible, in one they made a massive point of it.

What is the difference between the three? You could get a perception point here!

Wasn't Somerset, it was Hampshire. If it was the Somerset keeper who cheated they'd have probably gotten a ban (because they're not a test match county).

Oh yeah, I've no doubt there's different treatments for different clubs.

Harris has finished with us. Of course they announce this as I'm on the train down to Grace Road. lol

That's a bit of a blow for the four remaining 4 day games isn't it which I'm assuming he was originally going to be here for? I wonder if we'll look to bring someone else in though a bowler would probably be more useful I suppose.

The article on the website thanks all 3 overseas players so assuming Inglis won't be back this season after the Hundred either.

Although I wouldn't worry as you wouldn't have seen him anyway as it's going to piss down all afternoon
