Feel like progress has been made overall this season. Definitely been some bumps in the road along the way but that's to be expected given where the club is coming from and with so many young players in the team. But we have been pretty competitive in virtually all games across the 3 formats.

In terms of stand out performers,  the 3 overseas players all made excellent contributions but my player of the season would be Hill - would love to see him reach 1000 Championship runs in the final game v Worcs. Honourable mentions to Parky and Wright too.

Saw they were three down and 40 behind and thought it would drift to a draw- fair play to the team for going all out to win what is essentially a meaningless match. Sort of attitude we need going forward.

So did I turned off YouTube to watch Four in a bed  shocked when I looked at the score a couple of hours later.

I agree, it's got to be Hill for his contributions across all three competitions.

No Ackermann in the squad for the squad today, is he suspended still? Or is there something more to it?

He is on paternity leave I believe.

I like Patel. But if Evans was dropped its harsh tbh.

Considering some of the shite players who have never been dropped down the years
