Good innings by Rhodes finally started to prove his worth a little more this season, will have to play for a new contract next season and should have something to prove.

Yes credit where it's due, he's come in at 3 for the last few games and looked a pretty solid and decent batter. If he gets further chances next season hopefully he'll provide more of the same.

If Hill leaves, he'll get quite a few chances.

Hill had a great season but has a career average of under 30 in all formats, we should offer him a 3 year deal but can't see to many others coming in.

I think he has had a great season by the way, not knocking him.

That was our best season since 2010 in terms of win percentage across all competitions.

Given we were quite close in t20 and 50 over stuff it's easy to forget that we have made progress.

I think we have been much better this year. Seam bowling still very poor, if we can afford recruits I'd be looking there.

6/10 for me

We lacked the depth of bowling the young South African lad would’ve added.

Still need an injection of talent but a few decent youngsters showing promise such as Kimber, Sam Evans and Swindells who has impressed with the bat.

Still too many perplexing loyalties seems an issue. There appears to be favourites and a tendency to stick by some for too long and not others. I’d like to have seen Patel given more chances as he’s got a fantastic technique. Also Scott Steel whose fall from Grace is a real disappointment.

I'd call this a fairly decent season. There were a few frustrating games where our bowling looked toothless other than Wright but we generally looked competitive in all formats.

I enjoyed the performances of Evans, Hill, Swindells and Parkinson and these guys could be the spine going forward along with Ackermann IF we can keep hold of them all which may be tough and losing Hill would be a bitter blow.

The overseas player's performances were all very good indeed, in the case of Inglis they may have proven too good for us to keep hold of him as has already proven the case with Harris. Naveen was a bit more...mercurial but must admit I came round to him and would enjoy seeing him back for the Blast. Top marks to the club though in this area so fingers crossed for more quality here next season.

Azad is steady enough up top though we could do with him finding his best form consistently given he's a four day only player. Kimber and Patel look like they have promise and happy to leave Welch in that category given the horrible injury. Rhodes performed solidly in the run in too which is good given the year he has left on his contract.

The bowling needs serious work though. Wright was superb and his back must be knackered from carrying us through many four days games. Barnes and Davis were OK at times and I like Mike but in the main his bowling is ridiculously expensive in all formats. Not seen anything from Sakande or Alex Evans to suggest they're really the answer either.

Marcus Harris signed by Glous on a 2 year deal to play all formats. He probably liked the certainty and commitment; not twiddling his thumbs for weeks during the T20

A good pick up for them. I think we were always going to struggle to retain him, an overseas batter who has proven he can score heavily against the moving ball early in the season will be in demand.

Wouldn't mind us having another go at getting Malan or Mulder although I have no idea on the international schedule for next season and potential availability.

150 k a year is alot. Way out of our league if true. No money in county cricket so no point in offering players money that will bankrupt you.

Think we will be dipping into the world of Dan Weston's analytics again for recruitment, a good idea given most of the recent signings have performed across all formats.

From the above it doesn't take a genius to work out we need another strike bowler to help take the burden off Wright, its a shame Will Davis can't keep as his stats look good when he's played.
