Mike is still crap then. How much longer will we persist with him?

Until Mulder arrives, which could be the seconds game

I can't fathom why Davis was left out after his good pre-season. However, we still have them 4 down for a hundred odd, just need to keep it tight tomorrow morning and get into their tail.

It looks absolutely freezing for spectators on the stream.

Don’t want to be too pessimistic because we’re not in a bad position, but that was just like what we’ve seen for the last few years. We got into a strong position then let it go by missing opportunities and then can’t control the run flow.

Chris Wright is a little like Jamie Vardy, not sure what we’re going to do when he leaves/retires.

Totally agree. Take Wright out today and the other bowlers took 0-83 off 17 overs. Really shouldn't be conceding 5 per over in a 4 day game.

Think I’ll be rinsing and repeating this a lot again this year, So frustrating.

You can't play a guy (Mike), principally as a bowler, who goes for so many runs that the captain can't bowl him. They are looking at 400 now

Yeah he completely fcuked with Barnes earlier - two cracking wickets for him and Mike gets wheeled out giving easy runs. Leach gets his eye in and starts hitting the runs off Barnes as well.

Exactly this. Gone at above 5 an over so far and his career economy is over 4. He's just too expensive.

He's shown he can bat and hits a long ball so I feel he should focus on this side of his game and aim to emulate Hill's transformation into specialist bat. Should only be bowling if it's seaming all over the place.

Edit: Although as I was typing this it seems he finished clearing up the tail so credit for that.

He bowled a bouncer that was so bad even the jumping wicket keeper couldn’t get anywhere near it, then two balls later the Worcs batsman Morris seemed surprised one was on target and he bowled well after to be fair.

Wright was ridiculously unlucky today. Beat the bat five times in one over at one point.

……and Evans is out leaving.

6-3. Honestly sometimes I wonder what the point is of following Leicestershire. It’s in my blood, but we have been useless for too long. George Rhodes at 3. Please.

Exactly what I thought when after a really busy day at work I put the stream on to see how we were doing. Bearing in mind that The Guardian prediction was for Worcestershire to finish below us this does not bode well at all. Expect an innings defeat from here.

That Guardian article underrates us then (Worcs fan) we have a really talented squad but red ball cricket has been our achilees heel the past couple of years.

It’s obviously a decent pitch if Hill/D’Olivera can bat like they are doing. Very concerning that the rest of the team is being rolled over so easily.

Pitch looks good, decent carry, not much untoward happening.

Needs the tail to hang around with Hill and we’ll get 200
