Yes, he did. And got noticeably annoyed when challenged. 

 

Sums up our recruitment that our  overseas batting "star" has scored fewer runs across these 4 games than Roman Walker!

Positives are we’ve put 180+ runs on the board for the second game in a row.

 

130, 89, 188, 185 now there’s an improvement on the first two games.

 

Bowling is the issue with everybody going at 10+ an over today bar Ahmed, his 9.75 economy looks miserly in comparison.

 

Walker has to be dropped, he’s inexperienced but he’s costing us games at the minute. Barnes, Davis or Sakande to come in.

 

Didn’t watch all of the stream (and from

what I could actually see) but our positioning in the field seemed poor today

The bowling wasn’t the issue against Derby and Yorks and we probably only gave Durham 20 too many before batting shite, while that’s two from two Northants have got over 220 at home batting first. With T20 you do get games where a brilliant innings floors you and Lynn did just that alongside another vastly experienced T20 specialist in Neesham.

 

You’re right about Walker. Thought he’d got the yips at one point. Gavin Griffiths also seemed to come good towards the end of last year’s blast and made some telling contributions but is now nowhere to be seen.

 

Slow starts to the batting is a bit of an issue too when you’re also still losing wickets doing that.  At least more batsman are finding bits of form further down the order.

Admit Claude don't come across well in front of a camera but he's actually a very nice guy used to sort me out with tickets when I went away games and always gave me his shirt at the end of the season

I didn't mind his knock last night, think that's just his style. It would have been a good knock to build an innings around if a few others had been able to emulate Mike and go slog city.
