Ackermann has bagged himself a franchise contract in this year's BPL.

Incidentally so did his Netherlands team mate Max O'Dowd who looked handy in the World Cup. If Naveen isn't coming back then I wonder if he'd be worth a look up top for us in the Blast?

May depend on what Finan can add to the attack as although we're well covered for spin with Ackermann, Ahmed and Parky we'd be completely reliant on Mulder and Finan for pace unless Scriven or someone came in.

If we can't get Naveen back then I wouldn't be against giving Hendricks a go in T20. He did good for us in the one day cup.

Could we tap up any of Naveens team mates? Like Farooqi? Naveen has been so good for us, need to go all out and get him back.

Some standouts from the fixtures

- Blast fixtures start late May bank holiday. Friday night at home to Warwickshire. That weekend on Monday away at New Road.
- Oakham School has a CC fixture in July v Worcs

- July might have Glamorgan away  in CC at an out ground

- ‘Tough’ one day cup group which by way means we will play a lot of top counties weakened. Surrey a looks an out ground, Kent a at Beckenham,

Will Davis extends. Once again, extending a contract for someone who seldom plays is seldom selected when fit.

I really don't understand it to be honest.
