Lancs, Sky, ECB, etc, everyone except Leics and possibly the BBC reporting a 12:30 start, so I emailed Lancs for clarification.

Need to get that Yorkshire spinner who is on trial a contract. Not many on the books and his has a very good record at seconds level.

Seems like Parkinson is likely to leave at the end of the season given he's lost the captaincy for not signing a new contract so hopefully this Sullivan could be a handy replacement.

 

We obviously have Ahmed too but with Bowley gone I'm not sure of any other young spinners coming through and we may be missing Ahmed at points including during the Hundred. Steel is quite useful in the white ball formats though I think.

We have Freddie Fallows  slow left armer who's  higley rated also on the books

It's 7-11th June (I've got tickets for the second day), it clashes with our game against Gloucester, so he'll probably miss that one, therefore his first game for us will probably be 25th June at home to Durham.  He's has had a great start to the IPL.

 

Lewis Hill signed a new contract until 2025, great we got in there quick and extended his deal.

That's great news regarding Hill.

 

I said this before recently but his transformation from a decent keeper who batted a bit to a specialist batter who has been one of the best and most consistent in the division over the last two years as well as club captain has been great to see.

Yep, he's got runs each innings, plays the same way every time. A little too rigid in his shot playing I think, needs to watch the ball more for late movement.
