Hull had a nightmare and was lucky to get away with it. 21 off his second over including 2 nbs and a wide, 12 off his third and then nearly gave away the game with a front foot no ball on the third ball of the last over. I nearly screamed at him! Can’t fault his nerves to turn it around though. Goldsworthy and Currie had a good game. We are obviously missing Scriven. He bowled well in this format last year.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble here but I can't help feel that they thrown it away more than we won it. I'm afraid we're not that good.

Would tend to agree but T20 is a lottery anyway. Entertaining, but little to do with cricketing skill.

We got lucky with the 4 leg byes given as a dead ball that's for sure

I know what you mean, but Leics dug in to turn it around. Being W2 L2 feels important compared with having lost three including two in a weekend at home.

I think they’re still trying to find out what T20 side they are post Ackerman and Parkinson. It felt like a step towards that too.

It's not given very often but he didn't play a shot lifted his bat. Something that is just given now without thought. I'd like to see more of it. But the umpiring was a bit odd.

Also one of their seamers bowled two  beamers one of which he was warned for the other no warning but given as a no ball bit weird that.

Still too early to tell for me. We were well in the games against Derbyshire and Durham at stages. If Cox hadn’t dropped Patel we would likely be 3 from 4 and everything looking far rosier.

I think we need some fine tuning. The lack of experience in the bowling unit is telling with the pace bowlers.

At least we are in the mix at this early stage and already won as many as we did last year 🤣

Whats the deal with the Ahmed brothers being Notts based but Rehan obviously came to us?

The older brother was on our books but went back to Notts I believe.

They are all Nottingham boys Rehans dad fell out out with the coaching staff so he moved to Leicester when he was 13. Must have cleared the air the younger one considered more talented then Rehan btw
