Hull is playing for the Lions so won't be available. Not sure about the others.

Wondering if we might have been better finishing 3rd, rather than 2nd in the group? That would have given us Worcs and Glamorgan as the route to the final, as opposed to Hants and Somerset.

Probably true but recent events seem to suggest that we like to do it the hard way!

I was wondering the same about Patel and Hull as well unless I've missed that they're injured.

Yeah hull is out the question he’s with England lions but the other Patel and Rehan haven’t played the last 2 games for sure.

Would be great if at least Patel could come back in but not sure who you would drop? Rehan would also be great but would that mean dropping Trevaskis, which seems highly unlikely given how he’s played the last couple of games. Perhaps something like this…

Patel

Budinger

Hill

Rahane

Handscomb

Cox

Trevaskis

Holland

Mike/Rehan

Scriven

Wright/Walker

Seems a bit harsh on Kimber but Rishi is a safer batter at the top of the innings. Also would be unfair to drop Walker but I feel like we need to put our best 11 out. Thoughts?

Don't think Mike will be fit Southern Brave will probably  be playing Saturday so doubt Rehan   will  be available even though he's only played 2/8 and Can't see see Holland being allowed to play against  his parent club

Section 12.3 (Loan Players) in the ECB Player Registration Regulations states "Unless expressly stipulated otherwise in the loan agreement, the Home County may recall the Cricketer to play in a match or matches in the Finals Stage of the One-Day Cup or the T20 Blast during the loan period, and notwithstanding any such recall the term of the loan agreement shall continue uninterrupted in accordance with its terms."

Home county is the loaned player's parent county for definition purposes.

There isn't anything in the above regulations that outright prevents for example, Hampshire/Somerset and the Foxes coming to an agreement about the availability of Currie/Holland in the knock-out stages of the Blast or ODC, nor playing against their parent county. It will come down to the original terms set out in the loan agreement. Worth keeping in mind (a) all wages, appearance and bonus monies have to be met by the Foxes during the loan period and (b) loans can be competition specific.

Fair enough but just think it makes it an awkward  situation  for all concerned for example say he drops a catch with Hampshire needing 10 to win

Remember Currie was playing for us on loan last season, and then against us for Hampshire in the final!

Yep i do remember that still think it's sightly  different playing against your parent club that playing for them against the team you are on loan with anyway we will find out one way or another soon enough

Thanks. That’s really Annoying. It was rubbish on Sunday. Anyone managed to chrome cast to a television? I find it just crashes before getting started.

This is why I'd rather they just go behind a membership paywall on Youtube or something.

All these services just go to some upstart company with no features, no infrastructure, no app or smart TV support.

It just makes it harder to view the product they're selling.

Interesting that speed merchant John Turner has been added to their squad fresh from his stint with Trent Rockets. Meanwhile Rishi and Rehan continue to pick out the splinters from their backside

I don't necessarily mind us sticking with the squad who got us to the knockout stage.

It does irritate me immensely though that we lost 4 players who played 2 games each. 4 key players, 2 of them really promising young prospects and they've played a couple hours cricket each during an entire summer month and none of it for their county.

In a few years we'll be wondering why England are shite again and probably blaming us and Derbyshire for it.
