Du Toit played down the order where he should be but still does rubbish.

Think we need someone like Hd Ackerman back to play at 3.

Season we had Dippenaar and Ackerman was great.

Our batting line up is embarrassing now.

Looks like Eckersley played alright at 3 today, pleasing to see he's making progress.

A number 3 should also always be someone capable of opening too IMO though.

Why not push down Boyce or Smith to 3, and let Thornley open with Jefferson when fit and available.

Could not go far wrong trying to sign some of the Unicorn batters, they battered Leicester second team in both 20ov games at Grace Rd chased down 170 odd in the first game for the loss of only 1 wicket and then chased down 180 odd in the second game for 4 wickets. They looked hungry and eager to succeed. K Ali scored 110 in the second game and still finished on the losing side!

This is a nice surprise.

205/1 now, this is absolute quality.

Thornely great signing by the looks of it, but Eckersley has had a brilliant season so far.

Don't want these getting out again in quick succession, then collapsing.

It really annoys me that we can never do this in the first innings, great effort by these two but once again it will be for little gain.

Well it has saved us from losing to the bottom team in the divison.

I may have spoken too soon, Thornely out, lets hope Du Toit can see us through.

Although things have got so bad that a player we took on trial last season and was deemed not good enough has re appeared in the 11 today... Kadeer Ali...

Netherlands are top so no surprises.

Good start from us though 92-2 ain't bad for us.

Du Toit just gone for 48

Because 3 of there top 4 bats are Australian, Swarts, Cooper (Will play for Australia in tests in a few years) and Borgas (solid first class cricketer for South Australia)

The Netherlands were really impressive, batted, bowled and fielded far better than Leics. Saying that though we may have had a better chance if the batting order had been different, Eckersley and White should of batted before Smith and Thornley, the latter 2 were so slow eating up the overs when they should of cracked on with it.
